UCF -23 over UConn
The Knights have been great against the spread in their last six road games and have also done well in their last 11 Thursday night games. The Huskies have struggled in their last 27 home games and the last 14 played on grass.
Prediction: Central Florida -23

Minnesota -17.5 over New Mexico St
The Aggies defense wasn’t the only unit that didn’t show up against the Cowboys. Their offense was completely shut down for three quarters, including one of the worst first-halves of football you will ever see—they were held to eight yards and minus-nine yards rushing. It’s tough to have much faith in them on the road merely a week after a performance like that.
Prediction: Minnesota Golden Gophers (-17.5)

Wake Forest -6 over Tulane
The Demon Deacons may be undergoing a change at the quarterback, but the team is returning much of their starters from last year. This should see their high-octane offense get off to a strong start in the season opener. With it being the season opener, it should be an offensive showdown on Thursday night with Wake Forest leading the charge. It may be a strong season debut for Hartman in further establishing himself as the clear-cut starter while Banks could lead Tulane to a strong offensive showing.
Prediction: Wake Forest -6
