St Louis did it after closing as a 9-point road underdog & +310 on money line (stayed way Under closing total of 52.5 points). XFL Week 1, faves/dogs split 2-2 SU & ATS; home teams 3-1 SU & ATS with Dallas only home team to lose; Unders 3-1.
NBA:
NBA favorites/underdogs split 3-3-1 ATS with push on Hawks (-5 vs. Knicks); Jazz (+2.5, +125 ML) upset Rockets 114-113; Thunder (+1.5 vs. Celtics) & Bulls (+11 at 76ers) cover in losses; Grizzlies (-2.5), Clippers (-6), Blazers (-5.5) covered; Overs 4-3.
NCAAB:
Marquette routed No. 19 Butler 76-57: It was a blowout as the Golden Eagles closed as 4-point home favorites and covered easily. Rutgers got a scare from NW and almost lost outright but hung on in OT to win 77-73. NW (+11) got the easy cover ATS. Notre Dame closed as the (-2) favorite over Clemson and got the late money and the cover. Wisconsin (-1.5) won wire to wire over Ohio St in a rout. Umass blew a 13 point lead but hung on to win by 2, 68-66 over George Mason. Early bettors at -1.5 got the money. Late bettors got a push.
