The South Florida Bulls will be trying to bounce back from their loss to Houston when they take on the Tulsa Golden Hurricane on Saturday afternoon.

Golden Hurricane Going for Second Consecutive Win

The Golden Hurricane were able to snap their two-game losing streak with a win over East Carolina in their last game and will try to keep the momentum going by beating the Bulls, which will give them their second win in a row and eighth win in their last 10 games.

Tulsa is currently third in the American Conference standings, 1.5 games behind Houston. With the team facing the Cougars after their game against the Bulls, they will try need to pick up the win if they want to give themselves a chance to take over the conference lead next week.

The Golden Hurricane are averaging 70 points per game shooting 44 percent from the field and 31 percent from three-point range. They finished with 70 points in their last game and will need a better offensive performance to get past the Bulls.

Martins Igbanu led the way for the Golden Hurricane with 24 points and 10 rebounds. Darien Jackson finished with 11 points and five steals, while Jeriah Horne added 10 points and seven rebounds for the Golden Hurricane.

Tulsa has also played well on the defensive end, giving up 65.4 points per game. They gave up 56 points in their last game and will need to keep playing well defensively if they want to pick up the win.

Bulls Going For Fourth Win In Five Games

The Bulls have played well over the last week, winning three of their last four games. They had their three-game winning streak snapped by Houston in their last game and will try to bounce back from the loss with a win over the Golden Hurricane, which will give them their fourth win in their last five games.

South Florida is currently ninth in the American Conference standings, 5.5 games behind the Cougars. With only two teams in the conference expected to make the NCAA tournament, they will have to win the conference tournament to make the Big Dance.The Bulls are one of the worst offensive teams in the country, averaging 62.7 points per game. The team is shooting 41 percent from the field and 31 percent from three-point range. They finished with 58 points in their last game and will need a better performance to beat the Golden Hurricane.Laquincy Rideau led the way for the Bulls with 21 points and two rebounds. David Collins finished with 13 points and three rebounds, while Justin Brown added nine points and four rebounds for the Bulls.

South Florida has done a better job defensively, giving up 61.7 points per game. They gave up 62 points per game in their last game and will need a similar effort to get past the Golden Hurricane on Saturday.
