NFL Week 11 Thursday Night Football: Odds & Betting Lines

Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks (-5.5)

Time and Channel: 8:20 PM EST, NFL Network

The Cardinals are coming off one of the plays of the year gave them a walk-off touchdown in a 32-30 win against Buffalo. Now winners in four of their last five, Arizona sits atop the NFC West for the time being.

The Seahawks have lost their last two games and three of their last four after a 5-0 start to the season. Russell Wilson has come down to Earth after not throwing a touchdown for the first time this season and adding two interceptions against the Rams. The Seahawks’ defense has been atrocious, having allowed their opponents to score just under 33 points on average over their last four games.

These Thursday night games favor the underdog, as they have covered in every game but two, where the Jets and Titans both failed to cover. With that in mind, expect Arizona to cover, but also expect Seattle to get back on track in the division race.

NFL Week 11 Picks and Predictions: Seahawks 37, Cardinals 35

NFL Week 11 Sunday Games

Detroit Lions at Carolina Panthers (-3)

Time and Channel: 1:00 PM EST, FOX

Detroit had the most Lions performance on Sunday against Washington. They entered the fourth quarter with a 24-10 lead before allowing Washington to come back and escaping with a 30-27 win at the buzzer following a 59-yard field goal off the foot of Matt Prater.

The Panthers looked solid for the first two quarters against Tampa Bay before being outscored 29-6 in the second half. Defensively, their lack of experience in the secondary is starting to show. Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes combined for 713 passing yards over the last two games, and the Panthers defense has allowed 79 points in those two contests, both of which were losses.

The Lions have been very up and down, but with the uncertainty of Teddy Bridgewater’s knee, along with the health of Christian McCaffrey, I think the Lions begin to roll and make a push for that seven seed in the NFC playoff picture.

NFL Week 11 Picks and Predictions: Lions 31, Panthers 20

Tennessee Titans at Baltimore Ravens (-6.5)

Time and Channel: 1:00 PM EST, CBS

Baltimore lost in a very wet game in New England. Lamar Jackson didn’t look bad, finishing with a passer rating of 98.8, but did throw an interception before halftime while Baltimore was in a good position to put up points. Multiple fumbled snaps also hurt Baltimore throughout the game, and the weather was a large factor in the waning minutes.

Tennessee’s special teams cost them a possible win last Thursday against the Colts. We know the Titans lean on Derrick Henry, but the Ravens defense is among the best in the NFL against the run, so Ryan Tannehill will have to make plays in order for the Titans to win. Can he do it against a very good Ravens secondary? Time will tell.

When you are looking at this Week 11 betting line and the associated odds, the performance of Ryan Tannehill is the key, and he has not looked quite right recently.

NFL Week 11 Picks and Predictions: Ravens 27, Titans 9

New England Patriots at Houston Texans (-2.5)

Time and Channel: 1:00 PM EST, CBS

Houston being favored in this game is surprising. Not to say that New England is anything spectacular, but the Texans outside of Deshaun Watson have been a dumpster fire this season. The story all season has been that they haven’t been able to put it all together minus their two wins against the Jaguars.

The Patriots upset the Ravens on Sunday night in a torrential downpour, in a win that keeps their slim playoff hopes alive for the time being. Neither team is having a season to write home about, and while this Week 11 betting line seems off with the Texans favorites, they may just have the offensive firepower to pull it off.

NFL Week 11 Picks and Predictions: Texans 24, Patriots 16

Pittsburgh Steelers (-9.5) at Jacksonville Jaguars

Time and Channel: 1:00 PM EST, CBS

The Steelers are coming off a big statement win over the Bengals, improving to 9-0, extending their best start in franchise history. Pittsburgh’s receivers are the talk of the town, with Chase Claypool now up to nine total touchdowns on the season as he makes his case for Offensive Rookie of the Year.

The Jaguars are the little engine that could. They think they can; they think they can… until they can’t. Jacksonville was a 13.5 point underdog against the Packers, and the game came down to the final drive before they ultimately lost their eighth straight to go to 1-8 on the year.

The Jaguars may only have one win, but they are 4-5 against the spread and have a knack for staying in games in which the betting lines have them as heavy underdogs, as this one does in Week 11.

NFL Week 11 Picks and Predictions: Steelers 27, Jaguars, 18

Cincinnati Bengals (-1) at Washington Football Team

Time and Channel: 1:00 PM EST, CBS

Despite struggling offensively in Week 10, 0/13 on third downs, Joe Burrow is having a great rookie season, as is Tee Higgins, who netted his third touchdown against Pittsburgh. Burrow just has no time to throw and is constantly under duress, which won’t net the Bengals much success until that problem is addressed.

Washington looked sub-par against the Lions for three quarters until Alex Smith, and the offense put up 17 points to nearly complete the comeback victory. The Washington defense has been quietly good, as well. They are fifth in the NFL in total defense, and Kendall Fuller is second in the NFL when it comes to interceptions with four.

The odds and betting lines tell us this will be one of the closer games of the Week 11 NFL slate, and I could not agree more. This one will be decided late.

NFL Week 11 Picks and Predictions: Bengals 23, Washington 21

Philadelphia Eagles at Cleveland Browns (-2)

Time and Channel: 1:00 PM EST, FOX

The Browns are 6-3 for the first time in six years, and they are doing it by running the football. Cleveland is the fifth-best running team in the NFL, and they have maybe the best duo of running backs in Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt, both of which crossed the 100-yard mark on the ground against Houston. Meanwhile, the Eagles have had very little good to talk about in the first 10 weeks of the season, as they cannot seem to get consistency from any facet of their team.

This is a big game for both sides, and the betting lines rightly have this Week 11 NFL fixture coming down to the final seconds, but the Eagles have a chance to upset the odds in Cleveland.

NFL Week 11 Picks and Predictions: Eagles 16, Browns 14

Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints (-7)

Time and Channel: 1:00 PM EST, FOX

The Falcons have won three of their last four and seem to be finding a rhythm. Matt Ryan is among the league leaders in passing yards, but the defense is the 28th ranked unit in yards per game. A trip to play Alvin Kamara doesn’t exactly look promising for the struggling Atlanta defense, and it seems like they will have to hope for a shootout if they want to leave the big easy with a win.

It’s always hard to sweep divisional opponents, especially in the NFC South, and even more so with these two teams. If Jameis Winston gets the start for the Saints, the Falcons, who are looking much better under interim head coach Raheem Morris could pull off the upset. I’ll take the Falcons outright.

NFL Week 11 Picks and Predictions: Falcons 30, Saints 20

Green Bay Packers (-2) at Indianapolis Colts

Time and Channel: 1:00 PM EST, FOX

The Packers let the Jaguars hang around for the entire game in which they were favored by two touchdowns. That said, Aaron Rodgers looked good, Davonte Adams had another big game, and Marquez Valdez-Scantling had his best performance since Week 1 against the Vikings. The Colts will be fresh after their Thursday night win over Tennessee, which puts them in first place in the AFC South. They have the third-best scoring defense, allowing just 19.7 points per game.

This game should be interesting for a while as these teams figure out how to unlock one another. If the Colts cannot get the run game going, then the Packers should run out easy winners.

Week 11 NFL Picks and Predictions: Packers 26, Colts 17

New York Jets at Los Angeles Chargers (-10)

Time and Channel: 4:05 PM EST, CBS

The Jets are awful. The walking equivalent of disfunction and misery, there is nothing good about this team outside of Quinnen Williams, and even then, his name was floating around the trade rumor mill in the first half of the year. They looked better in Week 9, and they will now face a Chargers team who are quite simply bad at winning games. Justin Herbert is clearly the real deal, but this team just finds ways to lose games they should win.

The Bolts have to win this game, right? A loss to the Jets could be the last straw for Anthony Lynn. I side with the Week 11 betting lines on this NFL contest and cannot see the Jets upsetting the odds, even against a Chargers team that seems to love to lose.

Week 11 NFL Picks and Predictions: Chargers 37, Jets 12

Miami Dolphins (-1) at Denver Broncos

Time and Channel: 4:05 PM EST, CBS

Miami is 3-0 since Tua Tagovailoa took over as the starter and sit at 6-3, just a half-game behind Buffalo for the lead in the AFC East. While Tua has looked really solid, it’s the Dolphins defense that has been carrying the load. Miami is allowing the fourth-fewest points per game this season and is second in takeaways per game. This week they play a Denver team that is third in giveaways per game, averaging two per game. The Broncos seem incapable of getting off to a fast start, and this Dolphins side is built to play with a lead.

Can Tua and the Dolphins continue this impressive run they are on? Or will the frigid conditions of Mile High in November take their toll on the team from sunny Florida? Tua isn’t used to cold weather, and this will be a new factor for him to deal with. Give me the Broncos in a win that shocks the NFL and upsets the odds in Week 11.

NFL Week 11 Picks and Predictions: Broncos 23, Dolphins 19

Dallas Cowboys at Minnesota Vikings (-9.5)

Time and Channel: 4:25 PM EST, FOX

The Cowboys almost pulled off the upset of the year as Garrett Gilbert took the undefeated Steelers to the final play of the game. Aside from that game, though, the Cowboys have looked bad in all aspects this season, especially without Dak Prescott. They are allowing the second-most rushing yards per game this season, which is not a good place to be when they are traveling to meet Dalvin Cook and the Vikings ground attack.

Dallas has no quarterback, no explosiveness, and no defense. Other than that, they’re phenomenal. The Vikings and Cook should be able to run the ball at will and cover this Week 11 betting line easily.

NFL Week 11 Picks and Predictions: Vikings 28, Cowboys 10

Sunday Night Football

Kansas City Chiefs (-7) at Las Vegas Raiders

Time and Channel: 8:20 PM EST, NBC

Vegas played great in their upset win over the Chiefs back in Week 5. Derek Carr passed for 347 yards, and the deep passing game was working wonders for the Raiders, as they had two touchdowns of 59 yards or longer in the game. The defense also played well, allowing Patrick Mahomes to complete just 51 percent of his passes and forcing a late interception. However, doing that twice against what seems to be a perfect offense will be tough. The Chiefs have weapons that can hurt the Raiders on both sides of the ball.

The Raiders are the real deal and a playoff contender, but beating this Chiefs team twice in a year is tough. That said, they match up well with Kansas City and should keep it close enough to cover.

NFL Week 11 Picks and Predictions: Chiefs 30, Raiders 24
