Archived: Which NCAAF teams are BOWL Eligible?

FacebookTwitterEmail

November is upon us, which means there’s just one more month in the college football regular season before the bowl season kicks off. And that’s something that nearly three dozen teams can already start looking forward to since they have punched their postseason ticket.

There are 39 bowl games scheduled between Dec. 20 and Jan. 6 with the College Football Playoff National Championship set for Jan. 13. That means 78 teams across the FBS will get a chance to play beyond the regular season.

Eight more teams reached that all-important six-win mark this weekend — Air Force, Georgia State, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Navy, UCF, and Wyoming. The Big Ten’s big weekend puts them in the lead with seven bowl-eligible teams followed by the American Athletic Conference (AAC) and SEC with five each.

And this list will continue to grow with nearly two dozen teams needing just one more win to join the postseason party.
