MLB World Series Odds 2026

The 2026 World Series odds are on the move! And with the season basically a third of the way done, the board looks very different from what it did on Opening Day.

The Dodgers hold the chalk spot, but the Braves have stormed into the conversation, and the Yankees remain in the mix. It’s another great year to follow the odds board since there’s a chance the Dodgers aren’t the best team out there.

World Series Odds Breakdown: Top Contenders

The Dodgers remain the favorites to win it all, but the gap between L.A. and the rest of the field is narrower than it was a month ago. Atlanta is jockeying with the Rays for the best record in baseball, has lost just one series this season, and Matt Olson is in the middle of an MVP-caliber first half. He leads the NL in several power categories, hit his 300th career home run on May 5, and is on pace for one of the best offensive seasons.. Olson is consistently giving the Braves a chance to win.

New York Yankees – Can they End the 16-year drought?

The Yankees hold the second-best record in the AL, though the Rays have pulled away atop the East. New York is built around the best player in baseball. Aaron Judge won his third AL MVP after hitting .331 with 53 homers and a 1.144 OPS in 2025. He backed it up with a monster postseason (.500 average), and this roster is largely intact around him. Judge is favored to win the AL MVP again in 2026.

New York locked up Cody Bellinger on a five-year, $162.5 million deal, and Bellinger has backed it up early, ripping a pair of two-run homers and driving in five runs in a blowout over Kansas City. Gerrit Cole made his long-awaited season debut and looked dominant, firing six shutout innings on just two hits. Carlos Rodon is nearing full health to join Max Fried and trade acquisition Ryan Weathers. David Bednar solidified the closer role after a dominant second half following the 2025 deadline trade from Pittsburgh.

Ben Rice has been a revelation, leading the majors in OPS and establishing himself as one of the best hitters in baseball. Cam Schlittler has been one of the best young arms in baseball all season. Giancarlo Stanton hit the IL with a calf strain, but top prospect Jasson Dominguez got the call and has given the outfield a lift. At +550 to win the World Series and +235 on the AL pennant board, the Yankees trail only the Rays in the American League pecking order.

Toronto Blue Jays – Buy-Low Value If You’re Still a Believer

Toronto’s 2026 campaign has been an exercise in survival. The Blue Jays sit below .500, and the injury list keeps adding names. Anthony Santander (labral surgery), Bowden Francis (Tommy John), and Cody Ponce (ACL) are all long-term absences. Jose Berrios suffered a setback in his rehab from an elbow stress fracture and ultimately underwent Tommy John surgery, ending his season. That’s a brutal blow to a rotation that was already stretched thin.

Shane Bieber is progressing through bullpen sessions and may begin a rehab assignment soon after missing time with right elbow inflammation. Alejandro Kirk (thumb surgery) is swinging and throwing again but is still weeks away.

There are some bright spots. Trey Yesavage has been crisp through 10 starts. George Springer returned from his fractured toe and is back in the lineup. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is still the best hitter on the roster, and Dylan Cease and Kevin Gausman have held down the rotation.

If you still believe in this roster’s ceiling, the odds offer more value than they did a few weeks ago. Toronto’s World Series price has shortened to +2200 from +2700, a sign the books are pricing in the expected pitching reinforcements. The injury picture is ugly, but Scherzer and Bieber are both trending toward early-June returns, and a healthy second half could make these odds look like a steal. Toronto went to Game 7 of the World Series last October with many of the same players.

Seattle Mariners – Always In The Mix

The Mariners offer intriguing value after reaching the ALCS in 2025 and claiming their first AL West title in 24 years. Seattle’s foundation starts with one of baseball’s best starting rotations. Bryan Woo, Logan Gilbert, and George Kirby rank among the most efficient pitchers in modern MLB history in strikeout-to-walk ratio, while All-Star catcher Cal Raleigh anchors the offense.

The Mariners addressed their biggest weakness by re-signing first baseman Josh Naylor to a five-year deal, adding a proven run producer to a lineup that already features superstar center fielder Julio Rodriguez and Raleigh.

Seattle sits below .500 and trails the Athletics for first in the AL West, but the division remains up for grabs. A rotation this deep can survive a slow offensive start. The M’s came within two wins of a World Series berth a season ago, and that pitching core only got better with another year of development.

American League Pennant Odds

Betting the American League pennant is a great way to narrow the field and get better value on your pick. Instead of needing a team to win eight or more playoff games, you only need them to reach the World Series.

The Yankees (+235) lead the AL pennant board despite the Rays owning the better record. The Mariners (+500) sit in second, followed by Tampa Bay (+550), the biggest surprise of the early season after running away with the AL East. The Guardians (+900) are holding steady atop a muddled AL Central.

National League Pennant Odds

The Dodgers lead the National League pennant board at +115, drifting slightly from the near-coinflip number they held earlier this month. The Braves (+450) have tightened into second after building the best record in baseball and a comfortable NL East lead. The Cubs (+800) are still in the mix despite a recent tailspin, a stunning slide for a team that sat atop the power rankings just a few weeks ago.

The Brewers (+900) have surged past them in the NL Central standings behind a hot stretch of their own. The Phillies (+1200) remain in the picture under interim manager Don Mattingly following the firing of Rob Thomson.
