Super Bowl Best Bets
Philadelphia Eagles (+550)
On paper, the Eagles have it all.
They have the elite quarterback, offensive weapons, a great offensive line, ball-hawking secondary and an explosive pass rush. But they’re somehow not even in the top three in Super Bowl odds?
The only question here is health. Key players like QB Jalen Hurts, DE Josh Sweat and OL Lane Johnson all missed a chunk of time at the end of the season, among other Philly injuries. But after resting over their first-round bye, the Eagles should be much healthier, and with everyone on the field, they deserve to be at the top of this list, giving us value a few spots down on the oddsboard.
Cincinnati Bengals (+800)
Haven’t we seen this story before? Last year, the Bengals got hot at the right time and overcame a suspect offensive line to drive to the Super Bowl.
The Bengals’ current Super Bowl odds are a bit deflated due to a tough path to the title. But both the Bills and Chiefs seem beatable in the AFC this year — at least compared to last year, when the Bengals bested them anyway. If they can get a bit more from Joe Mixon and the run game, they’re one of the most balanced teams remaining in the playoffs and have proven they can make a deep run.
Dallas Cowboys (+1000)
After Dak Prescott came back as Cowboys QB in Week 7, Dallas went 9-3 with a +130 point differential. The Cowboys are probably behind the 49ers and Eagles on paper, but it’s not a big enough talent chasm to warrant this kind of odds difference. With massive playmakers like CeeDee Lamb, Trevon Diggs and Micah Parsons all across the roster, Dallas has the talent to beat anyone.

It’s no surprise that recent Super Bowl history has been dominated by Tom Brady. The star QB has won four of the last 10 Super Bowls (three with New England, one with Tampa Bay) and consistently leads his squads deep into the playoffs.
The biggest recent Super Bowl underdog were the 2017 Eagles, who beat Brady’s Patriots in the final. They even did so after their No. 1 QB, Carson Wentz, went down with an injury late in the season. Backup Nick Foles took over under center and earned Super Bowl MVP honors to deliver great preseason odds value to Philly’s Super Bowl 52 bettors.
