The Bucs have the highest win total in the NFL, so it’s no surprise that they’re the favorite to win the NFC in 2022.
Tampa sees the return of Tom Brady after retiring then promptly unretiring. Without Brady, this isn’t a top team by any stretch of the imagination. But with the greatest quarterback of all-time, the Bucs are firmly in the drivers seat heading into August.
The Packers are next in the +475 range, with the defending Super Bowl champion Rams not far behind at +500 — they opened the offseason as the favorites until Brady’s retirement catapulted the once +1100 Buccaneers to the top.
The 49ers (+850) and Cardinals (+1300) are making the NFC West look like the best division in the NFL. The Cowboys (+750) are the only team out of the NFC East that oddsmakers are giving a shot, but after the amazing offseason Philadelphia just had, there’s some great value with the Eagles at +1800.
The bottom of the barrel looks familiar, with the Lions (+7000) and Giants (+5000) still waiting for their franchises to turn the corner.
