Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans have to be excited about their prospects for the 2020 NFL season.

Their offense is still loaded with weapons, their defense is shaping up to be largely the same strong unit they were in 2019, and their new quarterback has thrown fewer interceptions in the last four years combined (27) than Jameis Winston threw in 2019 (30).

There are now betting odds available for 14 of the Buccaneers’ 16 regular season matchups in 2020 at Wagerweb Sportsbook, and the spreads for these games give Bucs fans even more reason to be excited.

As of writing this article, Tampa is only an underdog against the Kansas City Chiefs (+2.5) and on the road against the New Orleans Saints (+5.5, though they’re -1.0 at home against New Orleans).

The two games that don’t have odds yet aren’t exactly tough matchups either — road clashes with the Las Vegas Raiders and New York Giants. Considering the fact that the Bucs have the fifth-best Super Bowl odds of any team, while the Raiders rank 24th and the Giants are tied for 27th, it’s hard to imagine the Bucs don’t end up favored in both of those games as well.

Plenty of these games feature close spreads, including -1 at home against the Saints, -2.5 against the Green Bay Packers and -3 against the Minnesota Vikings, so we could see the Bucs flip to underdogs in a couple more matchups by the time each kickoff rolls around.

It’s incredibly encouraging, though, to be favored in this many contests even at such an early stage. Bucs fans can expect to be in for a fun season.
