Peach Bowl: LSU -14 vs Oklahoma

This LSU team is loaded on offense and are led by Heisman Trophy winner Joe Burrow. LSU was 2nd in the nation in total offense and Burrow had an SEC record 48 touchdown passes. 32 of those 48 touchdowns went to standout wide receivers Justin Jefferson and JaMarr Chase. LSU put up 46 in Alabama, then 50+ the next three weeks and in the SEC Championship they lit Georgia up for 37.

Oklahoma has numerous players suspended for this game is 0 for 3 in playing in a semifinal game. The Sooners also had narrow victories in the second half of the season. Sooners quarterback Jalen Hurts is a class act and has had a brilliant season but Burrow and the boys from Baton Rouge will prove to be too much for Oklahoma on Saturday afternoon.

Prediction: LSU 42, Oklahoma 24

Fiesta Bowl: Clemson -2.5 vs Ohio State

Ohio State and quarterback Justin Fields looked mortal against Penn St and in the first half of the Big 10 championship game in Indianapolis against the Wisconsin Badgers. Since the September 28th 21-20 scare against UNC, the Tigers have been on a mission wrecking everyone in their path and that includes putting up 62 against Virginia in the ACC championship game in Charlotte. During that run they have averaged beating their opponents by 42 points a game.

Ohio State does have an extremely good defense, but I feel Tigers head coach Dabo Sweeney’s is just a bit better. Look for linebacker Isiah Simmons (125 tackles) to make the difference on defense for Clemson as they move on and get their chance to defend their championship in the national title game on January 13th.

Prediction: Clemson 35, Ohio State 24
