The 2019 College Football Season has some big matchups set to take place in Week 7. Here’s a look at the opening odds for the games happening this weekend.
The featured game of the week is in the SEC, as No. 7 Florida his the road to face No. 5 LSU on Saturday at 8PM ET in a battle of undefeated teams. According to the latest oddsmakers, LSU is the favorite in this game, as the Tigers are getting odds of -13.5 points against the Gators. Florida comes into this game 6-0 overall and 3-0 in the SEC while LSU is 5-0 overall and 1-0 in the SEC. Florida is 1-0 on the road and 3-3 against the spread while LSU is 3-0 at home and 4-1 against the spread. Florida has won two of the last three against LSU and covered the spread in three straight meetings with the Tigers.
Another featured game this week is the annual Red River Showdown with No. 6 Oklahoma and No. 11 Texas facing off on Saturday at Noon ET from the Cotton Bowl in Dallas. Oddsmakers are listing Oklahoma as a 10-point favorite against Texas right now. The Sooners are 5-0 overall and 2-0 in the Big 12 while Texas is 4-1 overall and 2-0 in the Big 12. Both teams are 3-2 against the spread this year. Oklahoma has won three of the last four in this rivalry, but the Longhorns have covered the spread in six of the last seven meetings, including the last six at the Cotton Bowl.
