Best bullpens as of April 22 are:

The San Francisco Giants – They have combined for a 2.33 ERA.

The Houston Astros – They come close to San Fran with a combined ERA of 2.51.

The remaining top 10 bullpens belong to:

3. The Detroit Tigers

4. The LA Angels

5. The Cincinnati Reds

6. The Cleveland Indians

7. The St. Louis Cardinals

8. The Toronto Blue Jays

9. The Pittsburgh Pirates

10. The New York Yankees

When placing your MLB wagers, you may be able to rely on starting pitching trends more so than with these teams with the worst bullpens:

30. Washington Nationals – With a combined ERA of 7.55.

29. Baltimore Orioles – A combined ERA of 6.75

28 – Kansas City Royals – A combined ERA of 6.00

27. New York Mets

26. Chicago Cubs

25. Arizona Diamondbacks

24. Boston Red Sox

23. Chicago White Sox

22. Miami Marlins

Half of the last ten Nationals games have gone OVER the posted total.  The last three UNDERs occurred with a posted total of 7.5 or less.

Four of the last five Baltimore games have gone OVER.  Four of the previous five games went UNDER, however, all but one of those featured a total no lower than 9.5.

Not surprisingly, only two of the Giants last ten games went OVER the posted total.

Houston, on the other hand, has seen six of their last ten games go OVER the total.  But the Astros are also one of the best teams in the league right now because they can score.

The Detroit Tigers could not.  While a number of recent games have gone OVER, the UNDER went 7-0 in the Tigers first seven games of the season.
